Which Pill Works? Should I Drink or Not?
It’s understandable why some people don’t get the help they need when they finally reach the point of realizing they need it. All one has to do is spend a few minutes, make that hours, searching for a good drug treatment center. There is so much confusion – how does one decide? You will see many drug and alcohol treatment centers with every insurance logo imaginable on their site, so the natural assumption is insurance will pay for the treatment. NOT NECESSARILY. Insurance is difficult, at best. Next, one might see multiple web sites which actually lead to a few select drug treatment centers operated by a huge corporation with hundreds of beds and a ‘cookie cutter’ program for everyone. And finally some drug treatment centers have changed their name multiple times in order to ‘change their image’ or for whatever reason they needed to remake themselves.
At Bayshore Retreat we believe honesty must be first. We won’t mislead with logos for insurance companies that may or may not pay. We’ll do our best to help by pre-certification, filing upon discharge and follow up, but after all the effort, the insurance companies determine whether they’ll pay or not. Bayshore Retreat is what you see … we’re small, private and very personal. We have a wonderful qualified staff and group of people who are dedicated to helping each individual get the most out of his or her time at there. Realizing that everyone is different, we work hard to address the differences instead of forcing each one to fit a particular mold. With only six clients at a time we can do this. Others don’t. Yes, finding the best possible rehab facility is hard. But, you just found it give me a call and we’ll discuss how we might be able to help. 850-687-6831. by Judy (the mom) Sept. 30, 2014
