Bayshore Retreat’s principal activity is to provide substance abuse rehabilitation services. Any information collected through contact will not be disclosed or shared with any entity other than those with respect to the potential treatment at Bayshore Retreat. We do not collect information about our visitors from sources outside of Bayshore Retreat, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations. Clients who are admitted to Bayshore Retreat have the right to determine who can or will be communicated with by signing a Release form and/or giving permission. Personal and/or treatment information will not be shared beyond the Client’s Release forms with the exception of insurance, medical or legal necessity in which case the client will be informed prior to the sharing of information.
If the client has given someone medical power of attorney or if he or she has a legal guardian that person (the guardian) can exercise the rights and make choices about the client’s health information. We will make sure the person has this authority and can act on our client’s behalf before we take action.
We are required by law to maintain the privacy and security of health information.
