Stephanie Butler

Stephanie Butler, B.S, M.S, LMHC, MCAP

Stephanie Butler has been with Bayshore Retreat since 2012. She has 16 years of experience in the mental health field with the last 10 years focusing on addiction. Other areas of focus include trauma and abuse, eating disorders, anger control and family therapy. Stephanie graduated with her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She also graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling and Human Systems as well as an Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.). Stephanie is licensed in the State of Florida (LMHC) and is a national board certified counselor (NCC). Stephanie has also obtained the designation of MCAP, Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional by the Florida Certification Board. She conducts individual therapy sessions with each client at least twice a week and leads weekly group sessions. Her experience and insight help clients discover the underlying issues that contributed to the addiction, as well as those that will be faced when the client leaves.
