The Promise of a New Day:

Your Journey To Recovery Begins At Bayshore

The descent into addiction is different for everyone. So, too, is the ascent toward healing. At Bayshore Retreat, our caring team of addiction recovery experts understands that no two people experience dependency in exactly the same way, and that means that every client we serve must chart their own road toward recovery. The multidisciplinary team at Bayshore is dedicated to helping our clients do exactly that, to offering the compassionate support and expert guidance our residents and their loved ones need to forge a path to true and lasting recovery.

Comprehensive, Evidence-Based Care

At Bayshore, we recognize that addictions do not emerge in a vacuum. They are the result of a host of factors, some of which lie within your control and some of which lie beyond it. Because of this, our multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, addiction specialists, exercise physiologists, nutritionists, and life coaches are prepared to marshal the best evidence-based approaches to provide customized and comprehensive care. We address the addiction at its biological, environmental, behavioral, and personal roots to support sustained sobriety and enduring wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

Building Sober Lifestyles

At Bayshore, we see you. We understand that you are more than your addiction. It is our mission, our responsibility, and our privilege to look beyond the carnage that dependency so often wreaks to find and draw out the person inside.

Our commitment is to help restore you and your loved ones to the happy, healthy, drug and alcohol-free life you want and deserve.

This means that we do not target the dependency, nor do we accept a one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. Rather, we collaborate with our residents and their loved ones to foster a lifestyle of sobriety, health, and healing that makes recovery not only possible but probable.

As such, we prioritize whole-person health and wellness and offer education and support in managing nutrition, exercise, healthy relationships, and spiritual growth. We recognize that breaking free of the grasp of addiction depends foremost on cultivating a life filled with meaning, joy, peace, empowerment, accountability, and self-worth.

Mental Health and Comorbidities

Many people who are experiencing substance use disorder also face an array of co-occurring conditions or co-morbidities, ranging from depression and anxiety disorders to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Bayshore’s expertly trained and highly experienced team of medical and mental health professionals is uniquely qualified to support your recovery while addressing the comorbidities that may have instigated or may currently be exacerbating your dependency.

Our facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and is LegitScript certified, meaning that our physicians and clinicians are authorized to provide both short-term and ongoing pharmacotherapeutic care where medically appropriate and necessary.

At Bayshore, we understand that recovery is an intensely private journey and, as such, our luxurious facility is specifically designed to provide the security and seclusion to need during the early stages of recovery. We offer onsite medical and mental health support to assist you through the initial detox process.

From the privacy of our seaside property, you can access an array of amenities, including massage, a dry sauna, art and music therapy, and classes in yoga and meditation. From our secluded grounds, you can swim, take a walk along the shore, or soak in the unparalleled beauty of the bay.

Best of all, the home-like environment at Bayshore means that you will receive the one-on-one care you deserve. We serve no more than six residents at a time; we are equipped to offer the kind of personalized support and focused attention you need during the early stages of your recovery.

Because of the limited number of residents in our program, clients soon begin to feel like family. Our small group meetings, combined with individual and family counseling sessions, provide you with the opportunity to build a robust network of support that can motivate, inspire, and hold you accountable when temptations arise and addiction tries to seduce you back.

It’s this rare combination of medical, psychiatric, behavioral, social, and spiritual support that makes Bayshore unique. At Bayshore, we can help you learn to love yourself again. And when you love yourself, your future and the future of those dearest to you suddenly becomes a promise worth fighting for.
